The November Championship Show Results
The North of England Irish Terrier Club Championship Show took place on 07 November at the Village Hall Lach Dennis.
Many thanks to Wendy Bower for organising it and for all who travelled, with Irish Terriers from Northern Ireland and Surrey, just for the day.

The Judge's Report Mrs Ashley Price (Magairlin)
The long-awaited day finally arrived – I thought it would never happen due to the recent months and sad cancellation of lots of shows. Thank you very much for the invitation to judge. I had a very warm welcome and a super day. All teeth and feet were checked and good.
SBD (1,1) 1 Case; Slaneyfinn No Irish Need Apply A lively puppy who enjoyed his day. Nice head with keen expression. In good coat with well let down hocks.
BOSPIS. PD (1,1) 1 Case; Slaneyfinn No Irish Need Apply.
ND (2,2) 1 Fookes; Montelle I’am Dylan in good condition with good head and dark eye. Straight front and strong hindquarters 2 Case; Slaneyfinn No Irish Need Apply. PGD (2,1) 1 Fookes; Montelle I’am Dylan
LD (1,1) 1 Atwell; Kerrykeel Conchohar at Xanwil nicely balanced with good head, neck and shoulders. In good coat with tail on top and good bend of stifle. Would have been nice to see him more settled on the move.
OD (6,5) 1 Grant & Hemmings; Courtington Ten Sovereigns presented well in excellent coat. Great neck and well laid shoulder. Good ears with a lovely dark eye and expression. Correct length of body and nice turn of stifle. Moved as though he owned the ring.
BIS & DCC 2 Anderson; Ros Michelin at Kerrykeel nice size with a good lay of shoulder. Strong hindquarters but preferred the movement of 1 RCC 3 Bamsey; Holbam Celtic Wizard.
PB (2,2) 1 Thomas; Sunnystone Bright Light for Montelle Lovely youngster with good head, great ear set and keen expression. Nice neck into well laid shoulder. Good hindquarters and tail set. Moved well.
BP & RCC 2 Davidson; Saredon Miss Davidson nice puppy with good expression. Neck and shoulder okay and in good condition. Didn’t move with the same enthusiasm as 1.
PGB (3,1) 1 Hardman; Carliams Red Banshee at Bonsue a little too petite for me but feminine bitch with a good head and in good coat. Good ears that were used well. Good hindquarters and tail set.
LB (2,2) 1 Lee; Ivyblue Crinkles nice head and expression with nicely placed ears. Strong and straight with a well laid shoulder and good topline. Moved okay 2 Redman; Holbam Celtic Little Minx preferred the head and type of 1 but shown in good condition with nice neck and shoulder. Strong quarters and moved okay.
OB (5,4) 1 Anderson; Kerrykeel Daicota very feminine with lovely expression great neck going into a well laid shoulder. Well up on her toes. Good top line with strong hindquarters. Coat in good condition. Loved her on the move.
RBIS & BCC 2 Kennedy; Betirish Greetings from Eire at Tippanagh pleasing bitch with nice head, keen eye and good ear set. Nice neck and shoulder. Good hindquarters and tail set 3 Grant & Hemmings; Ch Courtington Storm Angel.
VB (3,2) Two lovely ladies both 8.5 years old 1 Bamsey; Holbam Pearly Star looking fit with a typical expression. Correct head and neck into well laid shoulder. Nice body with well sprung rib. Moved well.
BV 2 Lee; Sujoncla Goyathlay nice head, keen eye and good ear set. Nice neck and shoulder. Good hindquarters and tail set. Coat in good condition. Moved okay.
