Criteria: persons having been approved by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in Irish Terriers, completed their first appointment and have the support of the North of England Irish Terrier Club.

Judges A2 List

Criteria: Judges who, if invited to judge by a Society, would in principle be approved by the Kennel Club to award CCs in the breed for that occasion.

Judges A3 List

Breed specialists:

Criteria:

  1. Have at least 7 years experience in judging ITs and have the support of the North of England Irish Terrier Club (KC Policy).
  2. To have judged an Irish Terrier Breed Show or a Championship Show without CCs.
  3. To have judged a minimum of 30 Irish Terriers.
  4. To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 Irish Terriers when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances) (KC Policy).
  5. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures (KC Policy).
  6. To have attended a Conformation and Movement seminar conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer (KC Policy).
  7. To have attended a Points of a Dog assessment conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment (KC Policy).
  8. To have attended at least one breed specific Seminar and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable. A maximum of 5 dogs from one seminar only may be included when counting the number of dogs judged (KC Policy).
  9. To have stewarded at 12 shows of any breed (KC Policy).
  10. During the last 3 years to have attended at least 9 Irish Terrier Breed Club Shows (any level) or Championship Shows with CCs on offer.

Criteria

  1. A minimum of 7 years judging experience in any one breed and to include 5 years judging in Irish Terriers and to have the support of the North of England Irish Terrier Club (KC Policy).
  2. To have judged at least one Irish Terrier Breed Club Open Show and/or Championship Show without CCs with an adequate geographic spread.
  3. To have judged a minimum of 30 Irish Terriers.
  4. To have awarded CCs in at least one other breed (KC Policy).
  5. To have attended at least one breed specific Seminar and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable. A maximum of 5 dogs from one seminar only may be included when counting the number of dogs judged (KC Policy).
  6. To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs of any breed when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).
  7. During the last 3 years to have attended at least 9 Irish Terrier Club Breed Shows (any level) or Championship Shows with CCs on offer.

Criteria: Have the support of the North of England Irish Terrier Club; owned or exhibited ITs for at least three years; attended during the last three years at least six from Club Shows (any level), and/or Championship Show judging with CCs on offer for ITs, and/or Breed seminars; stewarded at least three shows (any breed);  and/or have demonstrated extensive showing experience; judging experience including judging 10 dogs which may include no more than 5 dogs from seminars.
